Authors' Guide
1. The structure of the article should be in accordance with recognized scientific methods and include an abstract, Persian and Latin keywords, introduction, main text, conclusion, and references. The research topic, research objectives, research questions and hypotheses, and the background and innovation of the research should be presented briefly but clearly in the introduction section.
2. The abstract should be 250 to 300 words and include the title and topic of the article, the research method, and the most important results, and a list of keywords (maximum 7 words). It should be provided in the relevant place, in addition to mentioning the academic rank, university of employment, and e-mail address of the author(s).
3. An English translation of the article title, abstract, and keywords should be sent according to the sample files.
4. The article should be typed in A4 format, with appropriate space in the margins and between the lines.
5. The length of the article should not be less than 6000 words and not more than 8000 words.
6. The submitted article should not have been published in any domestic or foreign journal or sent to other journals.
7. The Quarterly of Modern Parliamentary Research is free to correct and edit the articles and the submitted article will not be returned.
8. The source information and statistics should be provided in the form of (in-text) and the total number of references should be given at the end of the article. This section also includes tables and graphs.
- Persian source order: (author's last name, year of publication: page); example: (Farhadi, 1376: 65).
- Latin source order: (page: year of publication, author's last name); example: (Smith, 1995: 18).
- In case of consecutive repetition (without spaces) of the sources, the same word should be mentioned with the page number and in Latin "Ibid." And the page number will suffice.
- If more than one work by an author has been published in a year, they should be distinguished from each other by mentioning the letters of the alphabet after the year of publication.
9. It is necessary to mention the non-Persian equivalent of specialized terms, names of people or places in the footnote.
10. At the end of the article, an alphabetical list of Persian and Latin sources (bibliography) should be presented as follows (first Persian and Arabic sources and then Latin sources):
- Book: Author's surname and name (date of publication). Book title, translator's name, place of publication, publisher's name, edition number, volume. Example: Potty, Joseph M. (1992). Government Management and Methods of Improving It, literal translation... Ala, Tehran, Zovar.
- Articles in journals: Surname and author's name (year of publication). "Title of article", name of journal, periodical, issue number. Example: Alvani, Seyyed Mehdi and Parviz Ahmadi (2001). "Designing a comprehensive model for managing factors affecting human resource productivity", Modarres Journal, No. 1.
- Articles in collections of articles or encyclopedias: Surname and author's name (date of publication). "Title of article", name of book, editor's name, place of publication, publisher's name, edition number, volume number. Example: Binamotlaq Mahmoud (2003). "Philosophy of language in Plato's Creeds", Collection of articles of the World Conference of Hakim Mulla Sadra, Tehran, Sadra Islamic Wisdom Foundation, Volume 7.
11. This journal is subject to the rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) with respect to the rules of ethics in journals and follows the executive regulations of the Law on Prevention and Combating Fraud in Scientific Works.
12. All stages of receiving, reviewing, accepting and publishing articles in this quarterly journal are carried out through the system.
13. The article file must be prepared in the format of a sample article file and accompanied by the author profile file, commitment letter and absence of conflict of interest.
